Strategic Institutional Mission
For decades, Asian university research funded by public capital has been locked behind expensive Western commercial paywalls. Open Journal Asia democratizes scholarship, publishing rigorous, peer-reviewed open-access journals that keep intellectual property accessible to researchers worldwide.
Operating as a self-governing entity under the Asia Association charter, this platform coordinates directly with accredited foreign service posts, national commercial bodies, academic faculties, and civil volunteer networks.
Core Strategic Focus Areas
- Full open-access peer-reviewed journal publishing across 16 disciplines
- Transparent double-blind peer review managed by international editorial boards
- Zero author-facing exploitation: affordable and subsidized publication grants
- Strict anti-plagiarism and empirical data availability verification protocols
- Integration with global academic indexing registers and institutional libraries
